I had an Occipital Lobe Stroke early, second one in as many months. It past and I am ok right now. But it got me thinking about what Carol Anne said to me in an email.
With my personality I do have to write it through.
So I will only be taking a break. I will be back when it rains. But it might no longer be about homesteading.
Thank you for the support. It was really needed and appreciated at this time.
I'm very glad to hear that you are better. Is there anyway to stop these strokes? Sure do hope so. Take care of yourself and we'll all check in on you.
Hope you are feeling better today - we're all worried about you here [Did you get your L/D fixed yet?]
If you feel up to it you know where to find me. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
Hugs my friend.
Hope you get sorted out and they are able to stop the strokes. Scary stuff. Feel better.
Phelan, I'm glad you've decided to keep writing. Take it easy and rest up. We'll be here when you're ready to come back.
Hi from thousands of miles away and thinking of you, when you start writing again, I'll be here waiting to read it. Love frugal queen xxxx
I love reading your blog...not because I think you have all the answers or because you promote a certain lifestyle....but because you are just like the rest of us. Struggling to get by in this everyday life. You have real problems, real goals and are a real person. It's a comfort to see other people go through the same issues and bounce back. So, I'm glad you are staying and look forward to continueing to read about your adventures! Best wishes!
I don't check in very often as I'm sometimes away from my computer for months at a time. Today I decided to see what you've been up to. So sorry to see that you've been having some hard times. But I'm even more sorry that you've been having some health problems. I'm glad you're OK. Get well, and when you feel like it, write more of your life and experiences. When I do drop in I always enjoy your blog. And btw, nothing is a failure if you learn something from it, even if what you learn is that you don't want to do it anymore.
Glad to hear you are doing better. Sorry you have to go through all of that. Rest up, take it easy and take as much time as you need. We'll be here for you.
Go Phelan, get yourself well, or at the least better. When you come back (really, really hoping you do!), write about whatever you want. I'll be here to read it.
I do hope you get things sorted out. Do whatever you need to do for yourself. We will always be here.
Take care of yourself.
I'm so sorry for all you are going through, however, I'm glad I'll still get to read your blog. I'm sure you know just "how many times" I check in each day.
Hope you know "we" all love you!
Phelan, I am sorry to hear all the sh** you are dealing with. I hope to hear from you again, both because it means things are better for you and because I enjoy your voice. It's okay that part of your Dear John letter made me laugh, right? That parts about what you aren't - I read those blogs too. You know better than to be someone you aren't.
You'll stay at the top of my blog list, and I'll notice when you decide to post again.
Sending good thoughts from the city to the east.
I am so glad you decided to keep writing - yes I am that selfish. Please try to rest & relax - is this where the insane laughter begins? Write when you can.
Hope you feel better. Sometimes you just have to listen to your body. When you return to posting, I'll be here reading. Will keep you in my prayers.
Hi, new here, just stumbled across your resignation, good to see another post.
know what...? I don't care if it's not about homesteading. I would just be nice to see that you are still there. I think most of your followers would agree with that.
I SO WANT TO SEND YOU MY RAIN!
Wow... I just found your site...and I am so sorry to hear about the stroke.
It looks like a GREAT blog! I hope you feel better and feel upto writing from time to time. You may feel like you have nothing to give, but I think we all feel like that now and again, esp when we need to regroup... Take some time, and I hope one day you feel better and find something amusing to write about! All the Best, Rourri
