A quick reminder

Tomorrow I will be blogging 24 hours straight starting at 8 am central time to raise money for the Downed Bikers Association.

If you have yet to pledge, and want to, please do so before 8am (central) July 31st.

If you can't pledge, please stop by Following the Yellow Brick Road just to cheer me on. Last year I talked to myself for what seemed like 8 hours. It's hard to stay awake when no one is talking with you.

Please feel free to spread the word about my charity. And if you have a road story you would like to share, please email me through my profile page.

Instead of telling someone who rides a motorcycle how dangerous it is; Look twice before switching lanes, making turns, or pulling out of a drive way. Stay on your side of the road, especially in corners. Don't follow too closely. Keep your eyes on the road and off your cell phones.

You can pledge here>>>

Thank you to those of you that have already pledged. I was feeling like it was indeed a waste of time, but you few have proved me wrong. Thank you for that.

The blogathon will be hosted here>>> Following the Yellow Brick Road.

DAGNABBIT- I have done it again. I had to leave to go out of town last time you did this and now I am going to be out of town this weekend. I THOUGHT I was going to be home when I voted for you to do this, but we aren't - just found out yesterday.

I am so sorry. Do you have your phone back? Can I at least call you on Pooldad's phone during the marathon. I won't be able to read you, but at least I can try and keep you awake.

Now - all that said, are you sure you want to do this after your episode this past week. We would all understand if you decided to bag it. [Yes, that is the MOM part of the SkippyMOM talking to you.]

Love ya' girlie!

Not going to bag it, I made a promise.

Never lost the phone, so yes you can call. I lost the ability to call long distance and still haven't heard back to way that is. I think I will be switching carriers soon.

Will be there. A cause near and dear to my heart. I don't ride but take care of way too many downed riders each summer in the ICU.
