That would be a long walk...

That's just the bottom of the hill to the gate, not the entire drive.

holy crow! that is what the kids have to walk to get to the bus? wow. would it be worth it to have them ride an atv up and park it up top till they get home from school?
I told you we homesteaded, and our driveway and the dirt road back to our driveway were always a challenge. Every year or two we would get someone with a road grader to come down and grade everything again so we could make it....
I hope the weather changes soon, as it will make everything easier...
peace

OMG......I kept watching and hoping you would make it up to your gate. I could hear the wheels spinning.
You have to do this every day to get the boys to the bus?

Okay, I'll stop complaining about our unplowed roads now. That's a long white-knuckle ride up your driveway.

Honestly, I live in the north where roads are covered in ice about a foot of snow. We have gotten my 4x4 stuck in some wildlife areas and its always fun fun fun but that drive looks like a nightmare! I think the daunting thing is the length and turns. It would be best to break that job up in parts, starting with the death curves. Bless your heart.

We have more that a few back country roads like that. A challenge for sure. I used to just put it in the lowest gear possible and go as slow as I could-still you get that awful feeling in your stomach when there is any slippage...yikes!
Hopefully winter will be over soon....

why do I keep checking your whiney no good info blog?

Because deep down inside you love me. Or waiting for me to crash and burn.

It really doesn't matter either way. What matters is you took the time to leave a comment.

Thank you.

It looks awesome! As I mentioned on the Framboise Manor blog, we haven't had any snow only some light freezing this winter over here (the Netherlands). Thanks for posting that!
