Paint remover? No really: The color of a pig is only the top layer of skin...when you scald and scrape your hog that layer is removed along with the hair and spots...ta! da! Pink/white skin!
i am running out the door to get to the dance - but i would say SOS pads...albeit admitting i have never owned a pig. nor tried to scrub the black spot off of one of them.your friend, kymber
oh heck Lynda - nail polish remover would be more humane - bahahahahahha!
I thought about that...but it's been so long since I've "done" my nails I knew it would be easier to find paint remover (use it on my bee hives)! Have fun at your dance!
bahahahahahah! thanks lynda (i love that the "i" sound in your name is actually a "y" like mine - teeheehee!)
Everybody knows to use bleach I thought~
6 umEducaUm...you don't
Seriously? I would think it would be the same flavor/taste whether the skin is pink/white or spotted. But I've never butchered a hog so I'll bow to someone with more knowledge than me (which is just about anyone...lol).
Unless you are taking all layers of skin off the meat, you don't get rid of the spots.
Convinve your cousin it's a delicacy and make them eat it, ;)I would stay up with you, but we just finished moving in 105 heat. I'm exhausted and spent.
