And Now For Something Competely Different

A coherent post.

Watching the weather this morning. Looks like the farm will be getting anywhere between 4-8 inches of snow, while we are sitting pretty at a trace to 2 inches.

Woke up with a migraine this morning. Which reminds me, Small's migraines are becoming more frequent. He is in so much pain, and I do every trick I can think of. The ones that helped me, and the ones that didn't. He doesn't understand that he has to relax, even though it makes the pain worse, but it causes them to go away faster. When he finally falls asleep in my lap, I weep quietly. I can't help but feel it is my fault.

The bees are thick at the farm. I have one more super to put together. I think I will take it to the farm and see if I can't tempt the bees to move in.

It doesn't work for either of us. Thank you though. Skullcap helps dull it for me, but does nothing for him. Not sure what type of migraines he has yet.

ahh..sorry for your pain from the migraines. Too hard on us to see our young ones in pain, and I hope you can find the culprit to them. Seems there are only a million different causes. I have only experienced a couple of them firsthand and wouldn't wish them on anyone. Everything from allergies to neck problems and every other culprit in between can trigger them I understand. Just wish you could find a fast relief ..for the Both of you!!

Have you checked his diet? I found out the hard way what I thought were a continuation of my allergies I had as a child, became migraines when I had my first child. Of course that was at 20 and a headache doctor told me this at 50 so I ttreated them as allergies and sinus headaches for 30 years because I knew no difference. He changed my diet and I am much better now except I live in NJ and the humidity does me in plus pre menapause and the hormone surge causes them also.
Hope this helps,
Adele

I was diagnosed at age 2 with migraines. by age 16 they discovered that I had 4 different types of migraines. Each with their own triggers. I have been doing everything the the doctors tried for me and what the ped has suggested. His trigger seems to be excitement, or robust joy. He sleeps. he relaxes and bam, migraine. nothing I can do to stop his emotions unfortunately.

thank you though.

Deb H, I think I know what the culprit for him is, excitement. The above comment was for someone else, but they seemed to have deleted it, as I was typing.

As I read more and more of your posts, I find more and more we have in common. I have migraines too, they SUCK!!!! And my hubby is a biker, imagine that!!! Now, lest you think there is a correlation between migraines and biker hubbies, I should tell you that the migraines started way before I married him, lol. Hope your son finds something that works for him. I hate to see anyone else suffer with these darned things :(
