Blizzard Q

We ended up with15" of snow here at the homestead. I was awoken by thundersnow around 2 a.m. It took me a moment to figure it out. I thought a plane was flying way too low. This is the third time I have experienced thundersnow, very cool phenomenon.

Every one is very warm and happy though. Lambs hid in the barn, unable to follow their mothers into the deep snow, a neighbor drove his tractor equipped with a plow into town, clearing the roads for us all.

And over course the pipes froze under the house last night. The upside is the snow insulates the house itself, keeping things a bit warmer. It was too deep for me to venture out myself. My fear of falling kicked into high gear. Not quiet ready for all that. Though I wanted to.

I didn't know you lived in Michigan ;)

Best you stay inside and not risk the falling! No snowmen for you!

Beautiful pictures of your place and the snow. Yes, I would stay inside and warm. You don't want to injure your leg any further.

The thunder was awesome, we had it here in Oklahoma too.

I stayed inside today as well. It's surprising how broken bones make us wary of such things.

We didn't get any thundersnow this time. We had some a couple of weeks ago. Weird shit Maynard. Stay off the slick stuff.

I notice age (I'm only 49, but 50 hits in a few months) makes you more aware also. Good for you for paying attention to yourself. Beautiful pictures.
