Sorry I was in a mood this morning.
We got about 10 inches of snow, and during it we had to drive into town to pick up Undies hide and edible organs. The roads were slick and a bit nasty in parts.
The Locker didn’t tell us that we needed to bring our own container. Different Lockers, different rules. So they stuffed the organs in a trash bag and the hide in a box. We had to pick it up yesterday or would be charged storage fees. Once home, Husband had me pick up the box with the hide, it is a least a good 50lbs. The bag of organs weighed about the same, but was awkward for me to carry.
Once the bag was in the house I went to pull the organs out and was greeted by teeth. They had skinned the head and his eyes were still in it. I really wasn’t expecting that! Husband decided to play the role of the jerk and teased me for jumping back.
I wrapped the organs for freezer, writing right/ left on a certain package. We have a friend that loves Bull fries. I really don’t.
The hide is staying frozen until it warms up a bit more so we can work with it. We get the meat on Friday.

I can't imagine opening the box. Eek.
But..just think of all the lovely meals you are going to have this year.
