Snowed in

Last night we were in town, getting our taxes done. When we went into the office, snow had just began to fall. An hour and 15 minutes later, there was over an inch of snow covering the ground. On the way home, husband told Small that if we get snowed in, h would have to be thrown through the window and he would have to dig us out

Small took him seriously. I woke this morning to a lot of snow, not sure how much fell. School was canceled and the doors wouldn't open very far because of the snow drifts. I went back to bed, nothing else I could do, and when I got up, Small had dug out the back door.

Probably didn't want to get thrown out the window! Sometimes kids are just too cool...!

Good job for shoveling the now so Mom and Dad don't have to do it!

I an't imagine having snow this often...but I've been living in the deep south too long.

Stay warm!

Living in Florida all my life I cannot imagine all that snow.

I agree with HermitJim, Good job on shoveling all that snow for Mom and Dad.

Enjoy your Weekend!

Schools were cancelled but you don't know how much snow you had?

Okay. Yay for Small for shovelling out the back door. We had 20 inches and still could get everything open [and get out] so I bet you have much, much more - but since January hasn't ended yet I was sure some kind of Armageddon was going to visit you somehow.

Hope you are stocked up well and don't need to go out in this - I can't imagine the resulting car breakdown or sliding in a ditch that would surely be inevitable.

Take care, be warm and snuggle up. Best thing to do on a snow day! :D [at least I think so]

Small was thinking big. Shoveling snow is more fun than going to school!

It's been snowing here for the last couple of days - making up for a near total melt down a week ago. Our wether is weird this year.

Hope you guys are wintering well.

Stay warm and safe! Good for small, he is very industrious! We had 15 inches of snow in Birmingham, Alabama one year! We don't live there anymore - it hardly ever snows down here.

So sweet. Can't imagine my Small doing that ~ she'd be in bed under 2 quilts, 2 blankets & 2 dogs! & staying there
