Did you get the tag number for that donkey that ran me over

I have been i pain. So much so that I longed for the tinges of labor pains, as they didn't hurt as much.

Husband thinks it happened several days ago, while we were pushing a bale into a truck. Something in my abdomen herniated.I woke up screaming for my husband, crying and withering in pain. I thought that my stomach was twisted, or even an ulcer with a chunk of chicken embedded in it. I don't know it was 3 am and all I knew was that I hurt. Thoughts of a heart attack even entered my mind. I took 5 scalding hot showers in a 3 hour period, just trying to reduce the pain. My chest burned, it felt like I was kicked in the throat. It was all too much.

A large piece of muscle under my rib cage shifted, and was moving. The movie aliens flashed through my head. I'm going to die.

The pain dampened and I was able to function, except to breath. I could barely speak up, had to whisper because it hurt so much. Deep breathing was out of the question, and I would kill you if you got me to chuckle. Thank God I have a brother. I feel a lot better today.

I still feel like I have been worked over rather well, but I can breath and yell at the kids again, ha!

I never want to go through that again.

Strange how you can do the same activity over and over then one day, wham, you don't even know what you did different but your body sure does. That has happened to me twice. Hot baths and a big soft bed got me through it in about a week. I would get the bath water as hot as I could stand it and then stay in it until it cooled to body temerature, that seemed let the muscles relax and cool down at their own pace and they (it) seemed to little by little go back where it belonged, if I got out too soon the muscle would go back to where it was and I would scream and fold up in the fetal position for a while. Worked for me, don't know about anyone else.

I know you can't wait for the new year, can you? Just seems to be one thing after another then another. I don't know how you do it.

I am glad that you are feeling better, but I have to agree with Sparkless, if you start to feel bad again off to the doc, 'kay?

I'm glad you are feeling better. Keep taking deep breaths as soon as you can. If you don't you can develop pnumonia easily. If you have Flexaril that will allow the muscle to relax and heal. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Go see a Doc, that sounds bad and do not want to see you in pain. I hope you get better soon.

Goofball! If you want to keep entertaining us with your blog, maybe you should at least consider medical attention. Maybe it was a heart attack. Maybe you have a slow internal bleed that you could stave off death if you see someone...Lets hope you will be around and kicking in the new year!

Sounds like a hernia or burst appendix to me. Either way, take care of yourself and go easy for a while, OK? No passing on during the holidays!
