No, this can't wait until Monday, I might not be as thrilled as a pre-teen boy then.
It took a month, but it has happened. . .
Guess what her head is sticking through.
Right! The milking Stanchion.
I gently brushed her out and then. . .
I touched her boob!
I think it was just as good for her as it was for me. Doesn't she look content?
Not too bad of timing, Her calf is due next week.

I don't know if it is just me, but she is so beautiful. :D
My grandma raised cattle and I fell in love with them. She looks a lot like them [except they were black & white.] sigh...I miss them.
And the title is an excellent way to get scurilous hits on your google counter ;D
Yeah Muriel and Phelan! You are the cow whisperer!
Oh my gosh, the title cracked me up because I knew I'd come check it out and it would be about a farm animal! :) LOL I am so glad she is warming up to you so well.
I hate to say this, but she looks a lot like a girl I used to date!
Only Muriel is prettier by a long shot!
Congrats on making it to second base!
Haha! I am still cracking up! I don't know which is funnier, the title to the post or the wise-acre comments in response :)
Phelan, can any cow be milk cow? Like my FIL has cows, black ones (Angus?), he is getting ready to sell 20 pregnant girls...could they be trained and milked or is it the wrong kind of cow. Just curious.
Ha! You guys are just as bad as I am.
Jennifer, anything with teats can be milked. But I know nothing of milking an Angus. Cows are very smart, so easy to train. If the cow is free or very cheap, I would say try it. If it doesn't work, well hamburger.
HermitJim and Marina's comments just about make me wake my kids with laughter - as if your post didn't already have me about ready to pee my pants.
This is SO awesome tho! Congrats.
And this post is exactly why you won this:

Way to get to second base!
Here's hoping you get a real good fondle in soon!!
Beautiful gal M.P.
Nice boob shot too. (wolf whistling here).
Thankfully we didn't have to work quite so hard touching ours though she wanted to kill us the first couple days for touching the calf.
I think...knowing how well you work with your gals.. she will settle in quite nicely. She should give you lots more milk than your Dexters (hopefully anyway). You'll be swimming. Milk baths and soap right ? hehehe
P.S..never heard of the preppers. I will give them a looky loo when I get a chance.
Monica---sending good thoughts your way.
Part of the problem with training her was that the dexters are greedy things. She is real timid around those horns, and with her not being use to people, it was difficult to get her isolated without terrifying her.
I am so looking forward to her attitude come calving time.
HA! The title is just too funny. =) Congrats. I know you two will be very happy together. =) *giggles*
