We have those stupid moths that think our pantry is their home too....
Oy, I'd never bake again if I found one of those suckers in my flour. I know they're not poisonous, but I still hate 'em so.
I'm with Kathie, I hate spiders.
*shiver* Snakes do not bother me - spiders make me scream like a girl! Well, guess that's good, eh? =) Thank you for the heads up. Not something I would have expected!
that sounds gross!LOVE the photo at top!Lisa
Uuurrgh. I've become a lot more tolerant of spiders since I started gardening more. But I have my limits. My freezer gets delivered tomorrow. Never thought I'd be using it to kill bugs. Amazing, the things you find yourself doing once you start some serious food storage action.
so totally creepy!!
YIKES!! i guess i'll stop complaining about the moths...
OMGosh...I am not scared of much, but spiders give me the heebie jeebies!
Not the sort of surprise you want to find in your Kings cake?? lolOh gosh, we have those wolf spiders here. There was one a couple weeks ago on the ceiling in the bathroom, right over the toilet. The spider was about as big as my hand, the biggest I've found so far, and I was SURE it was a tarantula, lol. My hubby did 3 AM Kill Duty that time...usually I'm the one that vanquishes interlopers...
I like spiders. If you freeze your flour you'll find dead bits of spider (hard to remove) rather than intact, live spider.
I am not scared of spiders, but this one jumping out at me, caught me off guard. Placing you flour in the freezer will prevent any spiders from crawling in. This was not something I picked up at the store, this came from my home. We have lots of spiders in this part of the prairie.
