Oh, yes, you heard correctly. I have the recipe for Spaghetti O's before Campbell's bought the company and changed it. HAHAHA! (that would be evil laughter)
But when everything is done from scratch, the pasta, the condensed tomatoe soup, the tomato soup (yes you use both) it makes a world of difference. And when you have children that love them (blame it on prego craavings), you can give them the flavor without the junk.
I grew up on Kraft, Campbell's, and Chef Boyardee - along with the rest of my neighborhood. It's hard to break those childhood taste memories. My DH doesn't like any of them; he has his own childhood food, like fried pork roll. I like real mac-n-cheese, and real ravioli, and my own chicken soup now. But I can still be lured by the can and the box.
My 11-year-old is hooked on Spaghetti-O's, from a babysitter she went to as a toddler. I'd love the recipe, if you are sharing.

Spaghetti O's is one thing I have never learned to like. That and Chef Boyardee. And blue-box mac and cheese.
Ugh!

I can't even IMAGINE!
You don't actually make "Os", do you? That would be impressive! Simple ravioli nearly did ME in. :)
Hey, Phe. Care to share the recipe? :)
