Hi! I've been reading your blog from the beginning..Thank you for your wonderful work! Keep up the good work.
We're building an earthsheltered home. Our Tiny Cottage will eventually be bermed on the north, west and top to protect us from the north wind and extreme cold of winter. We are construct the tiny cottage out of concrete and stone. The roof is a concrete barrel vault. In the end there will be about 100,000 lbs of thermal mass inside the house warmed passively by the sun coming through the windows, the annual thermal cycle and our small wood cook stove.
