We are caring for Husband's father, and he has had some medical set backs. Things have calmed down, and hopefully we will be on the road Monday.
In the meantime we have been occupying our time by attempting to come up with a new name for our holler and homestead. We ended up doing a play on the Wizard of Oz for our road name, however I am leaning towards something horror movie related for the holler. What awesome gore fest doesn't start with a cabin in the woods?
I am also reading a couple of books for review. The authors and publishers have offered up another copy for you to win. So keep a look out.
It's been flooding here. Can you spot the zombie moat?

Meanwhile, we never get more than 1/10 of an inch of rain. HOARDERS!!!!!
This will teach you to refrain from making fun of Kansas. :D
Raining now that you're moving. When you needed it so badly last year and the year before.
I hope your father-in-law will be better soon.
Hope the FIL gets better and you can get on the road real soon!
That's some rain you've had out there. Same back here in the South. Maybe I should start working on a arc.
Looks like we will be headed out soon. Harry, you might swing by and pick me up if you're building that ark!
Re the name for the new place: a friend rented a cabin right next to the Smoky Mountain National Park. She called it the "Slasher Cabin" because of her fear of bears, snakes, wild pigs, and maybe weird strangers coming from the park
