I met one of the neighbors, she seemed nice.
Husband and the boys went exploring one of our hills. They found a pecan tree, and large paw prints. Husband and I found what we are calling a holler in a holler. It's like a secret garden. We found wild strawberries and blueberry plants.
I have been a bit melancholy about it all, but it's only because of a migraine I have been fighting for days. If I get too excited, I get migraines. Punishment for being happy I guess.
Husband is giddy about it all. It's wonderful just to see him so excited about things. And the boys, Large has hit that moody stage of being a teen and hasn't smiled in months, now he has been beaming. That in itself is worth all the trouble of moving. The boys haven't gone to the cave full time yet, the creek in front of the house keeps them busy. It's like we live in a national park that I would visit as a kid.

Oh! What a jewel! Shade for the house, Room for critters & great garden spaces! If you are there by August you have time for fall crops to help you this winter. So how many times have you designed the layout in your mind?
Surprisingly enough, not too many time. Lol! Already have a fall garden planed. :)

That is absolute paradise, and after all you've put up with from your bad neighbors, I'd say it's a well-deserved reward. Can't wait to read all about your new life there. Do you have a move date yet?

It's beautiful! Part of me is jealous that you get to have a new start in a new place and make it your own. It's going to be a lot of work, and it won't be easy, but it will be worth it. Good luck to you. You guys deserve this!

Have you tried taking 750 mg of magnesium when you feel a migraine coming on? The first time I took it after it had started and it took a few hours to clear up, but taking it the minute my vision started to go wonky resulted in no migraine at all. I know you said once that nothing so far has worked, but I thought I'd suggest it anyway :P
