You know it's spring. . .

Anybody care to guess what these are?

Nothing like a dip in a mudhole :) Have you cut into one of the mystery fruits? Is it a pomegranate?

The pictures are great. I love the second one especially. :)

And I haven't a clue - but will guess crab apples, but taken at an angle that they look bigger.

Playing in that mud hole sure does bring back some memories!

Nothing like being able to get wet and dirty all at the same time, then getting all washed off with the garden hose!

Fun times!

Hopefully the spring rain will bring you much needed grasses for your livestock.

I'm guessing crab apples...

ahh...a nice mud bath!! and on the guess..my guess is a russian olive with olives? Now if I could smell it I would know, but olives are my guess.

I don't think pomegranates can grow here. too cold.

I thought maybe crab apple but they are shaped more like a sand plum and they are bushing as well as those white freckles that Jonathon apples get. They are larger than most the crab apples I have seen. And the leaves are more like and elm trees rather than fruit. So I am leaning toward a nut of some kind. maybe. . .

I don't think I can grow olives here, much too cold.

Guess I will have to wait until it matures.

that should read blushing rather than bushing.

Honestly I had no idea that there were so many different types of crabapples. I am use to only the little green ones. So maybe. . .
