Update on Animals

I found 21 eggs in my coop yesterday. I have 19 Hens. 3 roosters.

Urth is weaning X, yet she still will wait patiently in the milk stanchion for me. Guess she doesn't want to wean me just yet.

The gimpy lamb's odd leg has began working. He still can't keep up with the herd, but is now at least using the leg.

The leghorns outside of my living room window have started to attempt crowing. It is a mixture of a dog being stepped on and a hen squawking. Not a pleasant sound.

Been trying to get some video of our little ram, Bob Dole, chasing our large horned cows through the field. It's like a chihuahua chasing around a rottweiler. You know the bigger dog could hurt the littler one, yet it just keeps running from it.

So, now your roosters have begun laying eggs? I'll take one of those! Yes, young beginner roosters do make some weird sounds.

That was my thought too Donna, roosters must have decided to join the cause.

Wonder what it is about bedroom windows and voice changing windows? Seems like that's always the place they choose!

Ah...I remember it well!

LOL re: SkippyMom! I totally agree with her. Hilarious. One day I tried to figure out if hubby's truck had froze up and was dying, it was a new roo! LOL

Roosters ain't no dummies, as long as they are producing, they ain't frying.
