During my morning rounds yesterday, Urth continuously mooed at me. After dealing with the rabbits and chickens I headed over to where she was standing to see what the problem was.
As I approached, she did a quick moo, almost a "Look what I can do mom" moment as she walked out across the pond. I could only shake my head at her.
It has been 5 years since it was cold enough to completely freeze a lagoon.
The boys keep asking me if they can sled across it, as it is our only hill. And after seeing several cows stroll across the center of it, I am inclined to give the boys the go ahead.

I can't believe the cold y'all are getting. Wow.
Cows on a pond. Nice. :D
It is hard for me to imagine that kind of cold. Like SkippyMom, "Cows on a pond"... Wow!
Ahhh that brings back fond memories of growing up in the Midwest. Not much ice out here in the desert but we did get a rare snowstorm that gave us about an inch of snow last month.
Sledding across the ice sounds like a blast! Just wait until the cows discover THAT!
