Skyhorse Publishing Raffle Donation

Skyhorse publishing is stepping up on the prizes. They have graciously donated three books to be given away during the blogathon! This will be split up, 3 books, 3 winners.

The Ultimate Guide to Homesteading

I have not read this book, but from the description, it sounds interesting. It claims to have all the nitty gritty details of homesteading. If that's true, it will be like reading my blog.

Maximizing Your Mini Farm

Another that I have not yet read. It looks to be a guide to those of my readers in more urban/suburban areas wishing to homestead on less than 1/4 of an acre, including rooftop gardening.

Rocks, Dirt, Worms & Weeds

As you saw yesterday, this is a book I have read through. And I like it. Good for families just learning to garden, and teachers wanting to show their students gardening and seasonal crafts.

A big thank you to SkyHorse Publishing! Make sure to check out their store to see what other books they offer.

Blogathon is a 24 hour pledge drive, where I will be posting every 30 minutes. All to help raise money for Companions for Heroes (formerly pets2vets). The event starts on June 30th 2012 at 6 am. So far you have pledged $285! Thank you! If you would wish to pledge and enter to win 2 sets of books, please go here>>>>

I know Kymber, but I really can't rig it for you. I am sure there are others it there that want it rigged for them as well. I just can't play rigging favorites.

  1. and after all of the times that i have given up my free time and hard work to come down to the farm and pitch in a hand and help you out?. i can't believe that after all of that you can't rig 4 or 5 raffles to make sure that i win?!?!

i guess we can still be friends. but don't expect my help anymore during harvest.

bahahahahahahaha! couldn't help myself! so now - on to rigging those rafles for me!

  2. Sure, right on that Kymber. You do realize that now you can't win anything because people will think it's rigged?

  3. i believe in the inherent truth that all people believe in the inherent truth of raffles. i also believe that people trust you and that they wouldn't blink an eye if i won all of the raffles! i think that most people would think "wow! that kymber sure is lucky to have won all of those raffles!" and i think that they would be honestly happy for me. i believe in the inherent good of people.

    bahahahahahahahah!
