I have a lot to do today, aside from my normal chores.
Can oranges
Candy orange peels
Preserve stir fry ingredients
Make truffles
Candy flowers and herbs
Make sandwich meats (3 different types)
Clean wire for chainmaille teaching ( Large wants to learn)
Clean fridge
Make orange extract
Mint extract
Dehydrate spinach for noodle making
Tomato planting
I have already done most my morning chores.
Anything on this list you want to know about, let me know. And I will be happy to post a tutorial on it.

mint and orange extract please! and sandwich meats too! thanks buddy!
your friend,
kymber
What is this cleaning the fridge you speak of? I think having pickles from 2010 is totally acceptable. har har. seriously though, mint extract sounds cool and canning oranges too.
Ummm can I just ask for the WHOLE list?? :) Sounds crazy busy but oh so worth it!
Kymber, will do.
The Moss Boss, I might have you beat on aged pickles in fridge.
Accidental, at first I thought you meant everything I was really doing today. Well good thing you have me at my lunch break, might have time to write it all down. :) sure thing. I can do posts on it all. The truffles are being made out of weeds, so you will get that one on the eos post.
I ended up making four types of meats. House smells simply delicious.
So...what are ya going to do in your spare time?
I'm glad my "to do list" isn't that big!
Have fun!
I have not made or canned any of those things so anything you want to write about is fine by me. I do clean my refrigerator on occasion when I am no longer able to identify items....LOL
This morning I weeded a majority of the garden. Broke a couple of dill pieces and used them in scrambled eggs with chopped bell pepper then let cheddar cheese melt on top. Pretty good lunch!
oh lunch meat please! and canning oranges??? how do they come out? what do you use them in. ummm candy flower and herbs, again how and what use, thank you!!! Lisa
I would one on orange and mint extact.
The extracts but it all sounds great to learn about.
I am going to be completely selfish and ask for the whole list as well. :)
Ok guys. Looks like I know what I am writing about for the rest of the week.:)
Hello and love the blog although I rarely comment. Please talk about making extracts and candying herbs! :-) Do you make candied Angelica? I have always wanted to try.
I do make my own candied peel and fruit for fruitcake. I even candy the pineapple and cherries. If you use sour cherries packed in light syrup you can make the best candied cherries you have ever had!
Thanks for all the knowledge and stoies you share. :-)
Hi Janet, and thank you. I do not have any angelica at this time. I guess I should have said weeds rather than herbs. I will have to try the sour cherries. Thanks for the tips.
Ha ha I can see where I made you think that! I love the orange "recipes"! Can't wait to try even though citrus isn't an Indiana native! :) Thanks again!
It's not native to Kansas either, but husband went and bought a huge box of them at discount from a local kid.
