Blogathon Pledges

Please leave a comment on this page, to pledge a donation to Pets2Vets.

On June 30th 2012 I will be blogging 24 hours, posts every 30 minutes to raise money for the charity of my choice.

This orginization pairs shelter dogs, that are trained as Companion animals, with veterans, and civilian Heros, that suffer from PTSD.

I never see your money, merely take your pledge. After the 24 hours, you go directly to the Pets2Vets website to donate. Any amount is greatly appreciated.

And you can even pick a package when donating.

C4H Basic: $25 — Provides a leash and collar for a C4H Hero adopting a shelter pet

C4H Chihuahua Starter Kit: $60 — Provides all the equipment needed (leash, collar, feeding and water bowls and a crate) for a C4H Hero adopting a small-sized shelter pet

C4H Basset Hound Starter Kit: $100 — Provides all the equipment needed (leash, collar, feeding and water bowls and a crate) for a C4H Hero adopting a medium-sized pet

C4H Golden Retriever Starter Kit: $130 — Provides all the equipment needed (leash, collar, feeding and water bowls and a crate) for a C4H Hero adopting a large-sized pet

C4H Adoption Sponsor: $1,450 — Covers total average cost (all equipment and one full year of the hero’s pet for pet insurance) for the C4H Hero pet-adoption process

C4H Friend: $2,500 — Entitles you to a mention in C4H’s newsletter and an invitation to one of the C4H events (picnic, fundraising dinner, etc.), which provides the opportunity to meet C4H Heroes and their pets

C4H Supporter: $5,000 — Entitles you to a mention in C4H’s newsletter and website, an invitation to several C4H events (picnic, fundraising dinner, etc.), which provides the opportunity to meet C4H Heroes and their pets

pledge drive for pets2vets

For every $10 you pledge, you get one entry to win 2 sets of books from Fox Chapel Publishing. Share this post for 1 more entry. And share the picture above on your site for yet another entry
.

Pets2vets has recently changed their name to companion 4 Heros. Possibly because there is another orginization that takes your pet to your veterinarian if you are unable to.

  10. Hi Phelan, I love your blog and your header photo! As a hobby spinner I totally got what was happening there the first time I saw it. :-)

I will donate $20 as well. I am Canadian but recognise how important this charity is. I wish I had more to give...

  11. I already committed to $25.00 (and have already completed that donation since I KNOW you're blogathon will be successful). But pencil me in for another $25.00 bringing the total to $50.00. I was telling some of the girls at work about your blogathon and we scraped up another $25.00.

  17. Phelan, I had a little extra in my pay check this week. Left another $260 for two starter kits in your honor. Best of luck on the Blogathon. One of the best causes I know of. Thanks for doing this.
