The shock went up my arm and then branched up to the back of my head and down my spine to my right kidney and out my right foot. 2nd time was a friend's rewired vacuum cleaner. The third time was an ungrounded ham radio set. Get feeling better and see if you can convince your mom to convert to gas or wood.
